For those of you looking for internships or summer placement, there are several resources I've seen so far. Don't forget to ask your concentration advisor, and be sure to investigate the resources available on campus too. Career services (in the UC), the co-op office (in CASL for environmental science/studies majors), and several department offices can direct you to people to ask about internships and other placement opportunities.
Here are a few more that might be worthy of investigation:
The Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups) are always on the move and work to help the general public from many angles. They're very receptive to inquiring people, and likely have several internship opportunities: http://www.studentpirgs.org/
Michigan DNRE hiring for 1,200-plus summer jobs (found out from Crain's, article might not be accessible unless you have a subscription)--you'll need to poke around the DNRE site, click on the button in the left column and fill out a general application form:

Greatest internship on the earth? Deadline is March 31st! Sierra Club:

* Travel around the country camping, rafting, hiking, contributing to environmental service projects, and enjoying the outdoors with the Sierra Club's youth programs.
* Create an awesome video blog that documents the experience.
* Be based in beautiful San Francisco at the Sierra Club's headquarters.
* Earn a $2,500 stipend for the 8-week internship, plus all expenses paid for travel.
* Be outfitted with $2,000 worth of gear from The North Face and Planet Explore.
Also, watch for the WWF's site on internship opportunities, there were a bunch posted with applications to be due around this time of year (April 15) last I heard.

Again, there's far more out there than what's on this list, but perhaps it can get you started.
